McGuire's Family Child Care has been licensed for 23 years on the Monterey Peninsula.  We offer a wonderful warm family setting for your child to grow and learn at their own pace, and feel safe and comfortable and loved while playing and learning.  We are a husband and wife team so your child will get the care of kinda like Grandparent's  everyday while coming to our home.  Children usually don't want to go home after coming for just a short amount of time, which will let you know that they love coming to our daycare.  

What We Do

We serve 3 healthy meals a day.  Breakfast, Lunch and afternoon snack.   We teach the children the basic skills to enter kindergarten and usually the children are far advanced beyond what they need to enter kindergarten.  Each day we play music, Read,  Cut, work with glue , markers or color crayons, do playdough, , paint, do puzzle's, Work with building blocks, play outside on our new play park swing set and slide, use our imaginations and run around.  Play dress up.   Sun is very important to keep children healthy , so we try and get outside as much as we can.   We have a large play room with lots of interesting toys to keep the children stimilated and thinking of ways to explore and imagine. Our play room is also a sun room.   Our daycare home is set up just for the kids so there is nothing that can hurt them.  Children have the freedom to decide what they want to play with which will make your child a independent person.

Whats New? 

We are excited to have just added a new play park in our back yard for the daycare.  We have a new swing set and slide with a fantastic tower to climb in and play.  We have put in bark chips and a big new sand box to build sand castles and what ever our imagination can come up with.
